Tracy McMillan, author of a predictably attention-getting February blog post called “Why You’re Not Married,” has sold a script based on the concept to the network. The single-camera comedy is billed as “a brutally honest look at love” focused on single women who want to not be single. As McMillan (who actually wrote for Mad Men and The United States of Tara before achieving her particular brand of Internet success) sees it, the problem generally boils down to being “a Bitch,” “Shallow,” “a Slut,” “a Liar,” “Selfish,” and/or “Not Good Enough.
