Taco contest →

My friend Sara shared this with me on Facebook. I thought she just thought we should attend but she was actually suggesting I enter. I’d love to, and am sure I’d win. And if I didn’t, I’d at least get to meet Andrew Knowlton and see if he’s a jerk in real life (Know-itall-lton, amirite?)

I made some recipe notes and figured out the general design for the pork tacos that would surely win. The problem: it’ll cost between $150-$200 to make 300 samples. That’s a big endeavor. I can have a helper at the event, maybe I’ll find someone who wants to be my sous chef and split the cost/help me cook.
